Broken Promises (Promesas Incumplidas)

This TV show airs twice a week, Tuesday and Thursday at five p.m. In each episode the audience will see a miracle come true by the Virgin of Guadalupe. The story says that when you pray to the virgin and put a rose in front of her image, if the rose does not fade away, your wish is becoming true.


That is where the name of the show comes from. "The Rose of Guadalupe". Each episode has different characters and different stories.

The episode is about a young couple Rosa (Wendy Gonzalez) and Ernesto "The Gallito Gonzalez", a famous boxer in the neighborhood where they live. They have 2 children. The great fondness of Ernesto is boxing, so much that in the championship, he almost died. Rosa dislikes anything that got to do with boxing therefore he made a promise to his wife that he would not fight again but since his family is experiencing a misfortune, he does not think twice and decides to box again. After so many years of fighting on the ring, he is suffering from cerebral damage and is determined to help with his family financial crisis even though it means that he has to sacrifices his own life.
